The other half of Ion Astral

Your print is a fixed record — the sky at the moment you were born, measured and set down on paper. Astra is the moving half: an app that reads that same chart as the sky keeps changing above it. Not horoscopes sorted into twelve boxes: daily readings computed from your chart, your degrees, your places.

When Astra opens

Astra, our companion app, reaches the App Store about 15 days after your print ships. Your order holds your place: priority access on day one, and 12 months of Astra Premium. We email you the activation link when it opens.

Your included 12 months begin when you activate them in the app — not when you buy your print. There is nothing to scan: the link is tied to your order, and one benefit is included per order.

After those 12 months, Astra Premium renews automatically at the standard App Store price unless you cancel. You can cancel any time from your Apple account settings.

What Astra does at launch

Grounded readings

Every reading starts from real astronomy: positions computed with the open-source Astronomy Engine library, interpreted across multiple systems — Placidus, whole-sign, and more. Measured first, interpreted second.

Daily transits

Each day, Astra compares the current sky against your natal chart and ranks what matters by orb — the closest, most exact contacts first. You see why today carries the tone it does, not just a mood assigned to your sun sign.

Astra chat

Ask a question in plain language and get a conversational reading anchored to your actual chart. Astra knows your placements and answers from them — nothing generic, nothing recycled.

Synastry

Bring in a second chart — a partner, a friend, a colleague — and read the two together: where they meet easily, and where a little translation helps.

If you found the app before the print, the chart comes first. Every piece is made to order, printed in your region, and — for now — among the first 500 of the Founders Edition. Choose your print.
